Full or Part Time Position

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised Steward to join our hospitality team.

The Steward plays an important role in supporting both the kitchen and service teams by maintaining excellent cleanliness, hygiene and organisation standards throughout the restaurant. You will help ensure the smooth operation of daily service and contribute to the overall KOA guest experience

Key responsibilities include:

  • Wash, clean and correctly store dishes, glasses, cutlery, cookware and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, washing areas and storage areas
  • Ensure chefs and service teams have the equipment needed during service
  • Follow hygiene, sanitation and food safety procedures at all times
  • Keep floors, surfaces and work areas clean and safe
  • Assist with basic kitchen preparation tasks when required
  • Support receiving and storing supplier deliveries
  • Dispose of waste correctly and maintain recycling procedures where applicable
  • Clean kitchen equipment and ensure it is properly maintained
  • Assist with setup and cleaning for events and private functions
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and report when stock needs replacing
  • Support the team wherever needed during busy service periods
